We own 3 water jugs; a 5 gallon Coleman, a 7 gallon Igloo and one of these round 5 gallon Reliance. All three are about the same age (maybe 3 years or so). The reliance is the best one. We are buying another to replace the Igloo (7 Gallons is too much to carry, the spout is long lost and its small mouth makes it difficult to fill). The Reliance has a good handle and a wide mouth for filling. The Coleman also has a small mouth and the spout does not work as well as the Reliance. The cover for the vent hole on the Coleman broke off years ago and now it spills water when it gets jostled. It appears that Coleman may have addressed these issues, but we'll probably replace it with a third Reliance anyway.

I bought this for my emergency storage planning on letting it sit in the dark basement. But it has now been on many camping trips out into the desert. It works great. The handle makes it easy to lift and move. It is a great addition on a long trip to waterless areas.

Perfect for my simple workshop. I need water for drinking & making hot chocolate or coffee in my workshop. I only had a 1 gallon container before this one. This one will even sit on a supported 1 ft wire shelf with a thin board underneath it. It does not roll and keep the water cool and secure. Best money spent to keep a good supply of water. I looked at many others before I bought this one and I am glad I did. Highly recommended to anyone else for a similar need.
